Tododeku fic rec month

TodoDeku Fic Rec Month is a month-long event dedicated to sharing and uplifting Midoriya Izuku/Todoroki Shouto fanfiction.The event will run for the entirety of February 2022, from the 1st to the 28th. During that time, you'll get to rave about your favorite TodoDeku fics with other TodoDeku lovers, following the event's weekly prompts. It's a great chance to rec your favorite fics and add new ones to your to-read list. Hope you're excited!TodoDeku FRM is open to everyone. Make sure to read the rules and guidelines before participating in the event, see the FAQ for general clarifications, and check out the weekly prompts. Let’s make the best out of the event, yeah?
Rules
- TodoDeku must be the focus of any fic recommended, even if they’re not the only romantic pairing in the fic.
- A link for the fic must be included in the main fic rec post, not in a follow-up reply or elsewhere.
- Either use the hashtag '#tddkFRM' or tag the event twitter account @tddkficrecmonth in your post so it can be seen and shared by the mod and others.
- Share what you liked about the fic! Even if it’s with just a few words! Joy is contagious; people will be more encouraged to check out the fic you’re rec'ing if they know why it sparked joy in you. (You can also share favorite lines or screenshots from the fic, but that's optional.)
Guidelines
- All TodoDeku fics are allowed. This includes NSFW works. Use your discretion when tagging any warnings in your rec post if you wish to do so, but unless the warnings/tags aren't listed by the author, it should be generally understood that it’s the readers’ responsibility to read them themselves on the hosting website.
- Participating in all the weeks/prompts is not required. You can rec multiple fics for a single prompt, share one fic during the entirety of the event, or anything in between! Just do whatever you can and what’s comfortable for you.
- Interacting with posts in the #tddkFRM hashtag is highly encouraged. Remember: the aim of this event is to support these fics by promoting and showing your love for them. Even if you're not rec'ing the fics yourself, RTs and likes help them reach more people. QRTs and replies are even better because, y'know, the algorithm. More interactions with a post = more visibility for it. (There's also the chance the author will see your supportive words and pray for your eternal happiness in gratitude. I know I would.)
- Tagging the authors’ twitter accounts is optional. I know being perceived by your favorite authors can be daunting, but they’ll more likely than not enjoy the love that their work is receiving.
- There are no due dates or deadlines. If you rec a fic a day or two (or more) past the week its prompt was listed in, there’s nothing wrong with that. As long as you include '#tddkFRM' in your post or tag @tddkficrecmonth, it will be seen by the mod and shared with a retweet. Let’s have fun, yeah?

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Easy! Check out the weekly prompts. If you find that you know a fic that fits one (or even more) of them, post a tweet about it with the link in the main post and remember to share why you enjoyed the fic. That's it! As long as you use the hashtag #tddkFRM or tag @tddkficrecmonth somewhere in your post, it will be seen by the mod and shared with a retweet. Any rec post without the fic's link attached will be ignored, however, sorry!
I'M NOT PERSONALLY POSTING ANY FIC RECS. HOW DO I PARTICIPATE ANYWAY?
Just interacting with other people's posts in the #tddkFRM hashtag in any way, ie with RTs/QRTs/replies/likes, counts as participating. Remember that the goal of this event is to support these fics, and we do that by giving them love and attention. So don't stress over not having any fic recs of your own; you can boost other participants' rec posts so they might reach people who otherwise wouldn't have come across those fics.
CAN I RECOMMEND DEKUTODO FICS TOO?
This event is inclusive of any variation in the pairing's dynamic; TodoDeku is simply used as a general ship name. As long as they're the focus of a fic, you can recommend it, no problem.
CAN I RECOMMEND MY OWN FIC(S)?
By all means, please do! There's a prompt near the end of the event for fic writers who want to promote their own works, but if you don't want to wait until then, go right ahead. Boost your work, treat yourself. Make sure you give your work a little love in your post too. We love to see it.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY FICS I CAN REC?
There’s no limit at all! So don’t feel awkward about rec’ing multiple fics for a single prompt or within a single week. In fact, you’re encouraged to recommend as many as you want, as long as you can give each fic its fair share of love in your post/s. The more, the merrier, right?

the fic that started it all for you. once you read it, there was no looking back. your heart was set ablaze and you were a tododeku in an instant.

a fic so sweet, it could rot your teeth, but that’s what makes it so good. 10/10 dentists may not recommend it, but you certainly do.
“where are you looking?”
a fic with low stats (<2500 hits) that deserves so much more attention. in fact, it has to be seen by everyone. it's a hidden gem and you’re so glad you found it.
WEEK 2
feb 8 - feb 14
“he’s something special.”
a fic that’s left its mark on you in a way unlike any other fic has before. you regard it with fondness, with wonder. it’s taken up permanent residence in your heart.
hallowed heartbreaker
a fic that hurt you but you hold dearly. reverently, even, you might say. it's that good.
pitch perfect
a fic where izuku and shouto are characterized perfectly. their voices and their mannerisms, from the big things to the little details—the author has them all down to a T.
WEEK 3
feb 15 - feb 21
“because todoroki-kun is my precious friend!”
a fic where izuku and shouto's friendship burns bright, a bond so palpable, it stands on equal footing with their romance.
butterflies
a multi-chapter fic that gave you butterflies in your stomach every time it updated. you look(ed) forward to every new chapter like you look forward to seeing a crush.
quote unquote
a fic with a line that’s imprinted into your skull. you think about it often—in the shower, in the middle of your dinner, as you’re trying to sleep. it haunts you, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
WEEK 4
feb 22 - feb 28
“you... it’s always you...!”
the fic you always go back to. you might've reread it over and over, or maybe it’s the first fic you link when someone asks you for a rec. whatever the reason, there’s no question it’s the one you always fall back on.
any lifetime, any universe
a fic set in an alternate universe that is so, so special to you. in any lifetime, in any universe, you'd want to find this fic just to fall in love with it all over again.
last chance
know an amazing tododeku fic that didn’t fit any of the prompts? want to show love to a tododeku writer whose works you adore? want to promote your own fic? this is your chance to do so. go crazy, go stupid. shout your love from the rooftops.
